PygmyMailchimp
==============

A very simple plugin to interact with basic functions of the MailChimp API


Example
=======

After installation update the settings in config/pygmy_mailchimp.yml

To get your default list id (optional):
	
	Use script/console
		@pm = Pygmy_Mailchimp.new
		@pm.find_list_id('LIST_NAME')

Note: you may override your default list at any time by calling find_list_id() in your script

Possible Usage:

	after_create :create_mailchimp_entry
	after_update :update_mailchimp_entry

	protected
	
	def create_mailchimp_entry
		if mailing_list_opt_in # Add MailChimp Entry
			@pm = Pygmy_Mailchimp.new
			@pm.subscribe(email)
		end
	end

	def update_mailchimp_entry
		if mailing_list_opt_in_changed? or email_changed?
			@pm = Pygmy_Mailchimp.new
			if mailing_list_opt_in_changed? and mailing_list_opt_in # Add MailChimp Entry
				@pm.subscribe(email)
			elsif mailing_list_opt_in_changed? and !mailing_list_opt_in # Remove MailChimp Entry
				@pm.unsubscribe(email_was)
			elsif email_changed? # Update Email
				@pm.update(email_was, {:EMAIL => email})
			end
		end
	end
