game pretty much dies after the 2nd level thru the tutorial

im not exactly sure what is happening, but i got the game on the epic games store and everytime i get past the 2nd level the backround goes black, and when i move it duplicates any image on screen that isnt the backround so its in the same place wherever i move the camera. after this happens i leave and delete the save once i make a new one the items i select are in the wrong area of the screen and i dont really know what to do
