I like the idea of a SDR radio service. I've had discussions with others in this group, and I think we should run OpenWebRX for the frontend. When it comes to the hardware we run it on, it will be largely based on what we'd like to do.

It performed pretty well on my Nooelec NESDR Mini 2+. All depends on how much bandwidth we'd like to share from each radio. I'd like to hear other opinions on the types of radios we should use.

For any frequencies, it would be nice to listen to YYZ ATC, ADS-B, and some pager frequencies in the 900 Mhz range. RadioReference.com is a good place to look at any frequencies that interest anyone.
