Set POM version to release, tag & increment

I would like to deploy the current state (best with issue#2 solved) as an intermediate release 0.0.1 to a Maven Release repository. It would be great if you could just remove "-SNAPSHOT", create a version tag (e.g. "v0.0.1"), push the tag, and then increment the version to the next snapshot version, e.g. 0.0.2-SNAPSHOT.
