SmartThings (New App)

Currently, I have a raspberry pi set up with homebridge and I am trying to connect it to SmartThings. I have done this in the past when I had the first generation SmartThings. I went away from it for a couple of years and just switch back and now they have a new SmartThings app.

Anyways, I went into graph-na04-useast2.api.smartthings.com and created the JSON CompleteAPI smart app. From the site end, it shows the app installed on my hub as I can see it in the list of my other installed apps, like Ring, Alexa, and ActionTiles (which works). However, the JSON app does not appear in the Automation section in the SmartThings app. I see all my other smart apps, including ActionTiles but not JSON so I cannot figure out my app_url.

I got the app ID and token, but for the life of me cannot find the app_url. Right now just have the default from the source code, but that does not work so I assume it is different.

Any help would be appreciated. Has anyone gotten it to work with the new SmartThings app? I really don't want to switch back to the old.

Update - Looks like indeed you cannot use the new SmartThings app. However, I did find you can use the two apps side by side and now it is working. So nevermind!
