We could add iOS support if there were an option to convert Node.js code into pure ObjC.

Frankly, I don't ever have plans to do this. It's way out of the scope of this project of being an interpreted bridge. You may find something like Objective-J interesting, which is a hybrid between JavaScript and Objective-C.

Thanks for the link!

There is a successful project to bring Java to iOS: j2objc. As JavaScript gains popularity, we could get enough community support to make a full bridge, node2objc.
