consider the “updates” section in the tealdeer TOML file if present.

If I understand correctly, the configuration entries under the update section are for automatic update, Topgrade does manual update, so technically, they are not related?

Well automatic update upon manually running tldr if you wish, yes. That's why I thought when manually ran, Topgrade could also regard that setting.
