Joomla 3.9.3 incompatibility — phar

Can civix be installed without using the phar?

OK, it looks like it's a problem with Joomla 3.9.3. See discussion here. Fix should be included in Joomla 3.9.4, which is out on 12th March.

Some notes, running on Joomla 3.10:

• cv had a similar issue which was fixed by https://github.com/civicrm/cv/pull/122/files
• If you rename the executable from civix to civix.phar and run it that way (eg civix.phar generate:module), it should mostly work. (I get some warnings - but no hard errors.)
• If you install+run from civix from git (*instead of phar), then it seems to be fine. (Added note on the Stackexchange - with some more detail.)
