Maybe there is a reason for it, but it seems like having each github action workflow run on macos-latest is unnecessary (obvious exception is the ios build). The reason this matters is that github actions that run on macos cost 10x as much as builds running on ubuntu. Given that each run can take 15+ minutes, that is a pretty easy way to chew through your budget.

This very much makes sense. We've been getting pretty sensitive to that in private repos for client work as it can hit the "free" limit pretty easily. Should definitely review this.
Added a new issue to review KaMPKIt tests: #241. The PR to move android to ubuntu was a good first step, but in general I think we can reorg the tests to save on CPU time.
