Should Formdata object be available in every selector plugin like DragDrop and passed to uploaders which might use it or not, or should we use some Formdata-forming function in plugins like Multipart that actually need it?

I'd say for now we don't need FormData anywhere, and when we do, it should be its own Plugin that supports it's own selectors to tell it what to 'Formalize' before handing over to Multipart. This selector could also take a plugin, such as DragDrop, in which case, it would use the selector used by the DragDrop plugin.

Is Formtag.js plugin what you are talking about? Shall I move the FormData stuff there then?

Yes I currently think that would be best, although this issue does remind me about our discussion in the call: we might learn something that makes me wrong about this
