Seems related to wixtoolset/issues#4787. Will need to check if using WiX 4.x helps (v2.92 installer was created with 3.x).

It's obviously helpful for people with impaired vision, and they are more likely to worry more about being able to distinguish/read stuff than how pretty it is (although I don't know, maybe they find those colors nice, after all the theme was most probably designed by the same people). But yeah, for the rest of us it doesn't look good.

Four years later, WiX 4 still is still in preview releases... reminds me of Transmission 😵

Tried WiX 4.0.0-rc.1, still the same bad look. Based on wixtoolset/issues#6740, could be that high-contrast is in the same category and so will require a bootstrapper app (.exe instead of .msi) to fix this...
