Invent a name and publish the gem

The gem can't be released as "state_machine", a new name is needed before publishing.

Is this code tied to a particular framework such as ActiveRecord or perhaps ActiveModel? Should the name be a play on, or otherwise take off from, the framework to which it is tied?

It's a standalone gem, it doesn't require ActiveModel nor ActiveRecord.
