Someone already updates a docker of it here: https://hub.docker.com/r/koehn/diaspora
The database needs to be configured in the docker tho, so I can't get it working myself.

I tried in a custom-app but even without environment values, I get the following error:

Supposedly, according to the yml files, the environment values should work.
ENVIRONMENT_URL
POSTGRES_USER
POSTGRES_PASSWORD

Any help would be much appreciated..

Thanks for the request, if you want to do it yourself it might be pretty straight forward by copying another App as a basis.
But as with every request these are just here to document what people want, not an actually "will be worked on ever" list...

lol If I could do this myself, do you really think I'd be on here and all over the place asking for help? :D Just sharing what I've found from my trial and errors in case someone else can make it work, hoping, really. I'd love to get this working as soon as I can so even tho this is really far from my field I've tried everything I could.

I tried a bunch of docker images from hub/docker, they all share the same error as above, so it looks like it's something between diaspora and k3s or whatever. But as far as I found it might require the following environment values:
ENVIRONMENT_URL=https://domain.com/
ENVIRONMENT_REDIS=redis://redis
SERVER_LISTEN=0.0.0.0:3000
POSTGRES_DB=diaspora_production (not sure if this is necessary)
SERVER_RAILS_ENVIRONMENT=production (it's in developmental by default, but also the env name is technically server.rails_environment [not sure if the underscore gets carried over or removed maybe?])

This is pretty much as far as I can get with this one, I am way out of my ability and knowledge on all of this so I give up now.
