please clean up pc-sysinstall (with pc-sysinstall.conf and stuff like that)

(as a kind of noob) i was looking at pc-sysinstall. I don't get it. It seems to me that there are (old) rubbish parts.

for example the pc-sysinstall.conf has variables like FBSD_BRANCH which is set (static) to 8.0-RELEASE. (an here is an "install-overlay" for pc-sysinstall.conf to set FBSD_BRANCH to 9.0-RELEASE?)

(figuring out what isn't needed anymore is probably much easier for someone else. :-p )
