Make progress wait an option?

I'd like to use get-down in a project of mine, but the hard-coded 8 second wait for progress updates is a little bit unreasonable for the size of downloads I'm doing. I'd like to be able to set it to something shorter as an option for a particular download request

Yes, I agree. Probably best to rewrite Bower's download module with a more configurable alternative.
