How much interest is there in this feature? Please vote by adding a thumbs-up to the issue. I have thought of this previously but didn't believe it was worth the database structure change, as those who want it will implement it on their own site.

Not only this feature, I hope there other features too. e.g.

Post Report - so anon can easily report a post in no time
Markup Syntax - it has to do with this.

Please create separate issues for these suggestions and the community can show interest in what they'd like to see, and I will take that as justification for the structure modification.
