Problems when searching for entries #683

I think this was fixed in v0.8.5, see #588 . Can you try updating? |
Hi and thanks for the quick reply. Well, I can try but there seems to be no snap for v0.8.5 . I´ll give it a try. Greetings. |
Hi again, before trying to install lnav as .deb-package (lnav_0.8.5_amd64.deb) I want to make sure that this is the right package for me. Is lnav_0.8.5_amd64.deb from https://github.com/tstack/lnav/releases/download/v0.8.5/lnav_0.8.5_amd64.deb Greetings. |
I don't think the "deb" package has any dependencies, it's just a container for a "mostly statically linked" lnav binary. Just give it a try, it'll probably be fine. |
@tstack: Many greetings. |

Hello,
I´m using nmon on Linux/Lubuntu 18.04.3 LTS, 64 bit as a snap. It´s version 0.8.4 .
The problem which rather frequently arises is that when typing a search term with "/" and the term obviously isn´t found the green progress bar at the bottom keeps telling "0 hits" but in fact there are entries of the respective term.
Besides that search will never end and cpu usage is skyrocketing.
After closing the programme ith "q" and reopening it often works as it should.
Very strange behaviour.
Can you tell me something about it?
Greetings.
Rosika
