vitag will not find $EDITOR if it was defined as an executable plus arguments, such as:

EDITOR="'/Applications/Sublime Text.app/Contents/SharedSupport/bin/subl' -w"

vitag will use, in order of preference, $EDITOR, vim, or vi, determined by the first available executable found.
