Phonicubes

Phonicubes is an open-source hardware and software toy, designed to help teach kids English using the Phonics system. It was created as part of the Great Global Hackerspace Challenge, and is documented in more detail on our Element-14 Blog

Modules

CubeController

Arduino code for the control system, it polls the RFID reader and the cube slots, then tells the SoundBoard what to do based on those inputs.

SoundBoard

Another Arduino sketch, this runs on a Wave Shield (availble from adafruit) It uses a slightly modified version of the waveshield's Arduino library which is available under the AF_Wave subdirectory

Hardware

In here you'll find the source files to make the Phonicube yourself.
