I've added an app icon for macOS to: TUfast-TUD/TUfast_ressources@ec4a4d4
I went for blue for the bg colour but it's relatively simple to change (I was basically following Apples' guide here: https://developer.apple.com/design/human-interface-guidelines/macos/visual-design/color/) - Im not the best at designing but it should meet all the requirements and guidelines (in terms of size, border, colour, shading etc). LMK if you want me to change it.

Now I'm back working on the notarisation etc. - could you make me an admin for the TUfast_macos repo as well? I'll have to add some env variables to it.

Okay I dont know what you are planning to do with the icon and what the requirements are for safari. As for me you could have left it as is - black rocket on white background. That's how it is used everywhere within TUfast. If we must use a color in the background, I would use one TU Dresden students are more used to. Also there are already some light icons for dark-mode, if required.

Also if the icon is shown small, no one will be able to read "tu-fast.de".

Btw new "master" branch is OWAHackFetch. Some changes have been made here in the last months/weeks. Its probably a good idea to pull.

The Safari extension has to be shipped within an installer application - that's the app icon that will appear in the macOS Store and for the installer.
Hmm sure I could change it back to white then, I was just a little worried it might be a bit too much of "white" thus it might look a little odd in the macOS dock (that's why I changed it to blue).
I'll try with a dark blue - thanks for the link! - for the background and a black on white rocket. If that doesn't look alright, I'll change it back to white.

The icon for Safari is the same as for Firefox, Chrome, ..

Maybe some color from page 12/13?

Not sure how large the icon in macOS Store & Installer is. For Chrome webstore I created a [own banner].(https://chrome.google.com/webstore/search/tufast?hl=de) I added icons of opal, hisqis, selma an Co. because they are known to students.

Didn't do that because when eyeballing the document on page 14 they mention two more blue tones which, as they say, are optimised for computer monitors (I'm guessing the other ones are more for paper) and #002557 in sRGB (the one on page 14 which is a little darker than HKS 41) is the one that's being used on https://tu-dresden.de (for the nav bar, header etc.).

It's relatively small, the max. icon size is 1024x1024 but it won't be displayed that large I believe -- depending on screen size, it's about 5-12mm on my display.

So I can't use "TUfast" (nor "TUFast") as app name - what should I use, "TUfast TU Dresden" (could be quite long though) or "TU-fast", ...?

In Chrome Web Store and FF-Store its also TUfast TU Dresden. It actually makes sens to choose this name.

Hey, how it's going?
I keep getting reuqests about TUfast for Safari. Also, we will start a campaign together with some faculties soon. Would be nice to have TUfast for Safari by then.

Also retroperspectively, it was not a good idea to go for dark-mode and safari-portation in one PR :D
