Hi, Im having a problem when running Elden RIng on my PC but I don't know what that problem may be.

My computer specs should easily run Elden ring, or at least get to the menu (as the exact same specs ran Dark souls 3 quite well). These are:

  • Cpu: AMD Phenom II X4 965 (3.4Ghz)
  • Gpu: Nvidia GeForce GT 730 (2Gb)
  • RAM: 16Gb DDR3 (1333)

So this is what happens when I run the game:

  • a white screen appears.
  • half a seconds passes.
  • then it closes.

The game closes without any error message, or warning or anything. it just closes as if you pressed the exit buttom on any game or window.

So here are the things I already tried in order to solve the problem:

  • Downloaded and installed different patches.
  • Updated drivers,
  • Updated the game
  • Didn't open any other program.

As none of these things worked, I format my PC (I needed to do it anyway), I downloaded the game again (from a different place), installed it again and tried running it, but I got THE EXACT SAME ISSUE. I tried patching it and doing all of those things again but still had the same error.

So, I came across your d3d12 and did as instructed but the only change was that instead of closing half a second after running, it closes 3 to 6 seconds later...

After that, anything else ended up doing nothing. The only thing that actualy made a change was your d3d12 but I still can't pass the white screen.

I was hoping that you may know the solution or have some insight on what might be happening here. In any case, thank you for your time.

Here are some logs from DebugView when I ran Elden Ring. Perhaps this helps.
