It should be possible to take out worker from cities (CR ½), to encourage the sort of scenario where they have to be transported (and possibly protected during battle) |
The presence of docks (or magical) in a city should allow for a once-per-week (1/7 chance), automated Gather Information check with a +2 / +4 bonus (as long as a Squad is in town). |
Exodus (0 labor, non-automatic, requires village): a group of citizens wants to go out with you and move somewhere new. Works like the Settler labor except it takes as many citizens as possible without bringing down the actual rank (Settler should do that too). This could actually replace Settler as something like 1/2/3/4 citizens moving out per city rank. |
Courier service: allows remote management of a Town and hiring Eagle mercenaries (useful for being sent away by themselves to buy items away and do other helpful things while easily flying away from combat). At this point, might want to think about a simple encumbrance system, like having a -1 general penalty (attack/skills/saves), plus -10 flying speed and -5 for other movements for each 1/4 of your strength in number of items carried (the first fourth being free, then light, medium, heavy encumbrance). Remote management means that the game will allow you to click a distant town and have it open the Management screen. |
