Please, tell me, if this is a just-my-tablet related issue, or global.

I have a tablet with 4.1 Android OS.
In native browser, Maxthon, Dolphin I'm unable to use bootstrap's dropdowns.
When I click on a dropdown-toggle (link or button) just nothing happens. Even in examples on getbootstrap.com

However, in Opera browser (Android) and all desktop browsers everything works fine.

That's strange. And more strange, because nobody else wrote about such issue...

We don't officially support any of those browsers.

Please confirm that you're using Bootstrap v3.1.1.

It's really strange to see such different performance.
As I know, all those browsers are using the same engine. (or I'm wrong?)

It would be great to know the reason of the issue, so I can modify BS Dropdown to solve the problem. But there is no dev tools under Android (such as Chrome dev tools on desktop)...

Especially not the stock Android browser; that thing is a trainwreck.
We do what we can to try to make it not break there though.
I don't recall any prior reports of the dropdowns being broken on that browser.

Pretty sure, depending on the version, that Android Opera is using either its own engine (Presto) or a more up-to-date copy of WebKit/Blink.

Opera is using WebKit. For all their modern browsers.
Do you have an Android device to test my issue? It could help me alot...

And it's really strange to me, that you say so about stock Android browser, cos MOST Android users are using it -- such things telling me Google Analitics for my websites.
It's a huge persentage, and when users are unable to open the main menu (cos it's using dropdowns) -- that's a huge issue... :(

I have a Nexus 10 tablet running Android 4.4.2 and which comes with Chrome as its default browser. Dropdowns work fine for me.

Can you install Chrome and check whether dropdowns work for you there?

You should be able to bring up a JS console to help you debug on the stock browser: http://android.stackexchange.com/questions/5999/android-browsers-aboutdebug-what-do-those-settings-do

Thank you very much for help.

No, I'm not able to use Chrome -- on my tablet it's crushing. The only browser, that crushing. :)
If you have an Android tablet, please, try a Dolphin and|or Maxthon to confirm the problem. It will take you 5 minute to test...

Android 4.1
Latest Dolphin
getbootstrap.com/javascript/#dropdowns

Not working. Just tapping on dropdowns and nothing happens.
Same in Maxthon and stock browser.
But good in all desktop browsers and Opera for Android.

Those things really makes me crazy, cos my new website waiting for deployment and I can't do that unless I solve this problem... :(

Well, then try out the debugging stuff I posted and let us know what you find.
