2.0 plan/roadmap

Hi, I've been over the issue queue and found a few useful issues/PRS that have been closed citing that 'they will be part of a 2.0 release'

Eg.

• Making all code Async [PROPOSAL] Make all loaders asynchronous-only and Promise-based. #612
• Moving to ES modules Switch to Module Pattern (replace Twig global) #622
• Runtime only Runtime only? #530
• Splitting compiling Split up compiling and parsing code and bundle minimal production bundle #548

Is there a published 2.0 roadmap anywhere?

I'm the maintainer of twig-testing-library and are interested in following any plans to modernize the code.

I'm also looking to integrate twigjs with vite and are currently blocked on the need to support both Async and sync in loaders.

If there is a roadmap/plan I'd be interested in helping out.

If not, would you appreciate someone taking the time to try and formulate one?

Converting to Typescript would be helpful too.

There is a milestone for v2.0 where those things are tracked. Focus right now is on cleaning up and stabilizing before attempting a new major release.
