Why are these filtered into icons by default? They aren't emoji and are quite surprising as default behavior.

I move to add them to the ignore list. https://github.com/twitter/twemoji/blob/gh-pages/twemoji-generator.js#L20

Hi copy and paste, those are listed as emoji (i.e. ctrlf for 00A9) : http://www.unicode.org/Public/UNIDATA/EmojiSources.txt so it won't go in the ignore list but:

FWIW I have raised the question to the Unicode mailing list since I think these chars should probably be at least part of the standard variants sensitive list so that you could opt out emoji just using \uFE0E as suffix. The \u00A9\uFE0E is indeed not sufficient 'cause there's no rule to threat these chars differently, even if OSX does when you use \u00A9\uFE0F forcing the graphical result.

Apologies for any inconvenient but please consider this library would simply like to respect standards as much as it can.

I have improved the example no how to not render ®, © and ™ as image

Being this an invalid bug I am going to close it but as soon as the issue will be resolved in the Unicode standard, talking about the fact these chars are listed as emoji but do not have variants and are universally recognized as plain text, I will update this issue to if three's any change or improvement in the code ( or in the standard ).

Hope this is OK, feel free to ask more questions if needed.

Best Regards
