1. TDD is great in that it gets you think about how the app/function/object should function instead of the tactical decisions about how the code works internally.
2. It leads me to writing more robust and succinct code.

Bonus:

1. I hope so, doing server-side internal code now, but hopefully will move to TS in the future.

Hi @jsjoeio, thanks for the course. I like the fact that you start from the tests in creating the code for the course. This is something that I'd like to do in some of my personal projects and spread the word. The goal is to have something like Learn Go with tests which is amazing.

That said:

1. TDD is useful also as a design process (if you think that design is somewhat separated from development)
2. The code is simpler, and it helps finding edge cases but more important it helps having a simpler design

Bonus

1. One of the thing that I don't like is that if I want to test a simple function in a file this should be exported. Nothing wrong with it but I like to export only the things that I have to use in other files, not just for testing.
2. As I said before, I'm also thinking about it

Agreed. I haven't found a solid solution for this personally. But hopefully one emerges!
