I'm trying to make a simple
ts
script that uses some packages that are at least globally installed vianpm
or are builtin (likeprocess
for example). The relevant types packages are also installed globally. Where my script is stored there is nopackage.json
files ornode_modules
.Using
ts-node
I'm able to run the script without any issues. But the LSP (running in NeoVim usingmason
, if it matters) shows an error like this:Cannot find name 'process'. Do you need to install type definitions for node?
So, wanted to know if it is possible for the LSP to fallback to the global packages when local packages are not available. Any thoughts ?
EDIT: Add LSP logs
