For a book having a single \cl chapter label marker before the chapter marker \c 1 it recently occurred to me that in theory there's a potential conflict were a subsequent chapter to begin with the no-break marker \nb.
The inherited chapter label would force a break because it displays as a title.
In such circumstances, should the no-break marker also suppress an inherited chapter label in the formated view?
Admittedly, this is a very unlikely circumstance.

This is unlikely because a translation philosophy that embraces \nb by definition does not accept traditional chapter boundaries. Thus, if they chose to adopt \cl chapter labels, they would almost certainly change the versification to move the chapter boundaries so \nb is not required.
