On initial SPA page load, the breadcumb bar is empty.. it refreshes and starts working after I navigate to other url within the site.. Any help/pointer would be much appreciated. Thx.

I got it fixed by injecting the breadcrumbService into the constructor of AppComponent. This ensured that the the breadcrumbs bar retains the state on initial page load AND every page refresh.
