[Bug]: Adding a mention with Android breaks the ability to add further mentions to that paragraph

On Android adding a mention to a paragraph breaks the ability to add further @mentions to the same paragraph.

What did you expect to happen?

Mentions plugin should not enter a broken state where further mentions cannot be added.

It's possible to add further mentions after it breaks if you type the @, then move the selection to another paragraph, and then move it to the position immediately after the @ - but I haven't found any other workarounds. Hopefully this provides some clues towards resolution.
