Hi,
I am wondering if it would be able to specify a sensor for the consumption as i sometimes see the calculations be wrong when the solar power sensor slowly changes. I have a smartmeter that is giving me the consumption power already so it would be nice to be able to use that instead :)

Are you certain it's not just a difference in rounding?

Same probleem here I can confirm that.

I have the fallowing sensors:

Solar production (enphase: update: 30 seconds)
power consumed from the grid (smart meter: update every seconds)
power produced to the grid (smart meter: update seconds)
Current Power Consumption (enphase: update 30 seconds)
Sample: (this will be correct in 30 seconds but it will display high house usage for short time)
Solar production: 3650 watt
House consumption 360 watt
House to grid: 2150 watt
Grid to house : 0 watt

Yes certain that it is not rounding :) Solar power sensors updates every 30 second and consumption/grid sensor = every second :) So i have the same as @tane64 :)

Just installed, great to be able to use this card in dashboards but same problem. I have an entity for the consumption and the value is different to what the card has decided is the consumption. 5.5 actual versus 5.8 being shown

The difference is a loss because of system inefficiencies. Mine ads up to about 20 or 30 watts loss in heat.

I wanted to open an issue for the same problem then I found this.
I can see the issue it's been closed thought, what was the proposed solution to remove losses from the Home value?

Just wanted to push this issue. Would be great to have the option to spec a specific house consumption sensor. My difference is about 70w.
