Has the Dock a "fixed" IP 192.168.178.54?

Hello,
At least the Dock is connected to the LAN vie this IP address:

20240423_Dock_IP-Adresse

inside the Fritzbox
Heimnetz -> Netzwerk -> Details für UC-Dock-8C4B149C35B4
-> Diesem Netzwerkgerät immer die gleiche IPv4-Adresse zuweisen.
Thank you!
Wir können ggf. auch deutsch reden... ;)
Viele Grüße, Timo

we can but not everyone else. I asked about the IP because the log showed timeouts connecting. I had problems with my dock because the power supply was to weak. You screen shot shows software reset CPU whih might indicate such a problem. I think I tried a 1A power supply and switched to 2.4A.

Good luck Ralf

Hi Ralf,

thanks for your hints!
Normally the dock is connected via a "blue" USB3.x port (10Gbit), which should supply enough current; at least I hope that.
Some minutes before I tried a 12W-iPad-USB-power adapter.
Unfortunately this does not change the dock update fail behaviour (0.9.2 -> 0.10.0) even after the UCR2 firmware update to 1.7.12.

A very rough estimate of the "quiet" power usage of the UCD2 carrying the UCR2 via an energy meter (Voltcraft 4000pro) shows between 5VA to 8VA. That is quite a lot in my opinion.
This corresponds with the UCR2 "equilibrium" temperature of ~32°C on the housing and ~42°C on the display (measured using Raynger ST IR thermometer).

Thank you
