What steps will reproduce the problem?

  1. Run PS3 Media Server on port 5001. Both Sony devices detect it.
  2. Run Universal Media Server on port 5001. Only Blu-ray detects it.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Both servers should be seen by both Sony devices.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Latest version of both DLNA servers. Windows 7 64bits

Please provide any additional information below.
Noticed this just today. Gonna have to re-test all 20 DLNA servers. Most of them were not seen by the TV. Dunno if the Blu-Ray sees them.

Same goes for BRAVIA KDL-47W805A. It works with PMS but not with UMS.

Please try and replicate the issue on the latest build of UMS. If the issue persists please open a new Issue Ticket.

the issue might be that Renderers in PS3 media server are different than that of UMS... please identify the renderer used there to discovery your devices and report it back for a PR to be added.
