It lets you stream/record up to 8 channels of AM or NFM audio within the tunable BW of the RTL-SDR. I would be awesome to be able to do that across the comparatively huge BW of the Pluto. I'd especially be interested in a standalone recorder to a USB OTG thumb drive.
Interesting find, thanks for suggesting it! I will try to find some time soon to play with it and see what it can do. Please post some suggestions on use-cases here as well. Initial implementation would likely just be making it available via command line. Then once I'm more familiar with it, we can get creative I think.
Please also feel free to open other issues for other software you find.
@DanV410 I'm having trouble building this using the latest SoapySDR libs avail to the RPi3 via apt-get so I'm giving up. If you can get this to build with the following options on an RPi3, I can add the deps to the image and test it. make PLATFORM=armv7-generic WITH_RTLSDR=0 WITH_MIRISDR=0 WITH_SOAPYSDR=1 NFM=1 Let me know. Side note, this requires icecast-server to be useful unless you just want to record to a USB stick, which I particularly don't. I'm checking to see if icecast+deps will fit within the 30mb image size limit, if not, then this won't be happening regardless.
