yeah that the traceback I was asking for, thanks! |
@Clonewayx have you that issue too with lastest uh-git and ffe-git/fifechan-git? |
Same with lastest uh-git. |
What Linux distribution are you using? |
Which version of FIFE? Obtained from your package manager or installed manually? |
Lubuntu 15.10. fife (0.3.5-1build2) wily |
Can you reproduce the error? and what are you doing that that crasg happens? |
Clone of git crash short after start of one-player game (same for random and scenario) Version (2014.1+ds1-2) from Ubuntu repository crash after some buildings are build. |
@Clonewayx can you run Unknown HOrizons with the debug flag like: python2 run_uh.py -d Please search for a line simliar to: Using fife version 0.4.0, at least 0.3.4 required |
Using fife version 0.3.unknown, at least 0.3.4 required So, I have installed more version of that package? (last line: intel_do_flush_locked failed: No space left on device) |
Your versions seems fine. But it looks like your harddrive hasn't any space left. |
Now I have 8.7 GB free space on my HDD. |
I also get some weird crashes from time to time.
I cannot remember what was doing when it failed the first time. The last fail occured when I tried to build a Farm in the tutorial. |
RuntimeError: _[NotFound] , Something was searched, but not found :: action move_as_redd not found |
I think i found it: as_reddeer0 but why ???? are in the log... |
Is that a git checkout? Could you provide the output of |
My Shell uses UTF-8, I think I don't use nothing weird. @MasterofJOKers, I'm only changing the tutorial. |
Thanks. My best guess would be the engine overwriting parts of memory it shouldn't overwrite. Looks like it especially when including the older traceback which has a different part of the name overwritten. |
What did you change in the tutorial? Just strings? Or do you also add actions? |
Just strings. |
Also happend on an 32-bit Ubuntu 16.04 LTS: https://usercontent.irccloud-cdn.com/file/DeXKSngJ/unknown-horizons-2016-09-16_18-46-25.log He/she managed to play ~10min before a crash. |
prock have said this:
|
When using atlases, fife is segfaulting. When not using atlases, it just doesn't find the action. |
Some of the segfaults in Unknown Horizons were caused by the tooltips being respawned too often. Since I introduced a timer into the @MasterofJOKers, is the segfault scenario described in this issue still reproducible? Closing as the issue is old and probably no longer relevant. |
Game is crashing few seconds after start of playing. On Lubuntu Wily.
