seeing weird calculation in current_percent intermittently #25
Comments
can't seem to get the logging going. Is there a param I can use that I'm missing? |
saw it again today, multiplied by 10x and borrowed against it as 1/10th of the calculation... as I have my settings low it allowed it to borrow and then corrected it once the oracle price corrected on the next block... it seems... Can I contact you another way to show you txs? |
https://twitter.com/anchor_protocol/status/1445270878481043456 This might have something to do with it. Suspect other nodes feeding their API might have had the same issue. Would explain intermittent calculations. |
I thought so as well. Maybe possible to protect against this, but then it could lead times where liquidation is possible for a few seconds. |
I have 12 hours of not seeing it. Will close if I can get a couple of days clear of it. |
it's mostly likely Oracles and instability of col5 in the 1st few days, it should be all running stable for now ! I'm closing this one, if you spot anything odd again, please, re open it. Cheers |
ex:
current_percent will be humming along fine at 85%, then randomly will be calculated as 8.5%, trigger an auto borrow, but be beyond the borrow limit.
It is like the oracle is giving a number one decimal off and the current_percent is getting discounted by a factor of 10...
Logging isn't going on since the c5 update so difficult to see more here. Will try to find more.
