Describe the issue
So I was installing Win98 and wanted all the drivers to be installed. I was following jensd_be's guide to install the drivers, including the Realtek Wi-Fi card. Did everything in the video and such, and got to the part where you should select the driver from the desktop. After selecting it, it found the card and began copying files from the Win98 setup ISO I had. But immediately, it said that the CD was found, even though I triple checked the if it was there and even downloaded a new ISO. But unfortunately, it couldnt recognize the CD, nor the drive at all. After restarting the VM, it still wouldn't recognize the drive.

Configuration

  • UTM Version: Version 4.1.0 (69)
  • macOS Version: 13.1 Beta (22C5033e)
  • Mac Chip (Intel, M1, ...): M1 8-Core GPU

Crash log

So it's not the Realtek card that made the issue, but the IDE controller. I skipped that one and everything went fine.
