Outside IRIs

This is a space for team members to discuss and suggest new sources of outside IRIs to use as values in our mapping work. When decisions are made, @CECSpecialistI will add new vocabularies to the prioritized list in the Decisions index under II.D.1.b.. RDA Registry IRI's are always preferred.

We discussed a need for this discussion during our review of the 008 mapping this morning.

More specifically, we need to figure out whether we want to supply IRI's for timespans and places when we map to them, and where we want to get these identifiers. For instance, when 264 _1 $c or 008 Date 1/2 is a date, do we want to pull in a Wikidata IRI for the item for that timespan?
