As people are using this out in the wild, it'd be great to tag a v1.0.0 release, and follow semver from there.

In addition to this, I've just released version 0.8.0 of RubyDNS which is a release candidate for 1.0 which should be out in two weeks. Can you please test 0.8.0 and let me know if you have any problems.

ugh, didn't mean to comment on a 1+ year old issue.

We do need to tag a release and should get it done soon. I didn't mean to comment in the present tense though.

RubyDNS 1.0.x is stable. RubyDNS 2.0.x is a bit unstable and depends on Celluloid::DNS which isn't released officially yet. The public API didn't change, just the implementation moved around a bit.

@ioquatix Does Ruby DNS 1.0 or 2.0 address the fork() issue, #16, on Windows?

Unfortunately no not at this point in time.

Version 1.0.0 is released now and moving forward we will apply semantic versioning.
