Cannot add to do item on first visit to app.

When I click the add to do button on your site on my first visit, it does not work and I get the following error message in the console:
"Uncaught typeError: JSON.parse(...) Is null"
"Uncaught ReferenceErrror: can't access lexical declaration 'createToDoItem' before initialization"
However, if the site is reloaded, the missing items appear and the plus button works as expected.

I was able to create this error 3 times by visiting on different devices and in different browsers.

I would like to work on this issue as part of hacktoberfest if you are happy to assign me.
