Right-click -> Configure in PCSX2

OR

Double-click a game that hasn't been configured

Has only happened to my Nightshade/Castlevania, but not Dark Cloud

Workaround is to create a symbolic link between the documents folder (where Spectabis is looking) and the custom config directory you're using. In my case, I was using a portable version of PCSX2 and all my PCSX2 configs were in the same folder as PCSX2, not in the documents. I created a symbolic link between these two directories and it worked perfectly. If it doesn't work, remove and re-add your games into Spectabis and see if that fixes it.

Example command to create the link:

MKLINK /D "C:\Users\Administrator\Documents\PCSX2" "D:\Emulators\PCSX2"

That happens to me only when:

  • My pcsx2 is not a Dev version.
  • My games aren't in a '.iso' format. in this case, Spectabis asks me for reconfiguration only when I update (dev) version to a brand new. Then only those E.G:. bin, cue, ecm...etc needs a confirmation for only one more time.

That said I do believe spectabis does not work well with 'stable' (older) versions of pcsx2. Try out with dev versions and 'solve' this issue once and for all! or at least, pcsx2 group release a new dev. version.

I hope that helps!
