It'd be cool to see the date each instance was either made-available or announced, maybe link to the announcement. I realize it's not quite as practical as most of these columns, but it's interesting context.

https://instancetyp.es/ seems like a better option.

I propose we work with the authors of that project to refactor it to so that it's reading the data from a machine readable format, maybe JSON, then we can source this at runtime from their website.

Neat project! Looks like it's just HTML for now.

@nrollr Any plans to expose the data in other formats?

@powdahound I'm willing to expose the data through other data formats,.. no prob. As per your request I've opened an issue to work on this 👉nrollr/EC2-timeline#2

In the meantime I've merged a branch containing a .csv and .sql format of the data on which https://instancetyp.es is based upon 👉https://github.com/nrollr/ec2-timeline/tree/master/data

Quicklook at the data 👉https://airtable.com/shrsQTfpn4nBjTFFL

@powdahound FYI, all data related to the EC2 timeline is now available in JSON format

Thanks @nrollr that looks awesome!
Now we just need to source this data to ec2instances.info

@nrollr Awesome indeed! Btw I did notice that the first blob has a special month :)

"release_month": "Augustus", 😆
