update image adjustment widgets

The image adjustment widgets should be initialized with different values (eg, not with the sobel filter on, etc). I think we may also want to remove some of the options, such as histogram equalization (not adaptive histogram equalization). This would make the widgets a bit easier to use and reflect the typical adjustments we apply.
