Although, ArcMap is such a robust software, it still needs to be enriched by adding more specific functionalities which are not included into ArcGIS packages. This can be done by developing embedded extensions. Using plot generator extension in ArcGIS, has provided the ability to generate numerous agricultural field plots by setting the appropriate parameters such angle, number of plots in each direction of fields and the dimension of each plot. The users were really satisfied with the functionality of the embedded plot extension in ArcGIS.
