Directory item in search doesn't open the directory if I don't search

Steps:
Created a new account on vector.im from ios
Clicked on the magnifying glass to access directory
The directory item is listed but doesn't work, nothing happens if I click on it
(I assume there is no rooms on vector.im and that matrix.org is not spidered by default... unless it was spidering and couldn't open?)
If the directory was loading I should have accessed the directory page with a loading wheel.
