Steps to reproduce

  1. Open Element
  2. Click on the search icon
  3. Type in 'f' followed by an 'a' or 'e'

Outcome

Seeing search results based on my term

Crash

Hi @stefanceriu I can not tell you that since, as intended, I can not access the rageshakes. But I noted the issue ID in the rageshake and thought that would be identifying. But I can send a new rageshake any second if necessary since I can reproduce the issue quite easily.

Btw the inputs were just an example of strings I tried to search for when Element crashed for me.

I don’t know if that helps anyhow but the crash also appears when I try to search for a term starting with one of the following combinations (non-exhaustive list):

  • fa
  • fe
  • ft
  • ff
  • fl
  • ka
  • ke
  • kt
  • wa
  • ge
  • jo
  • os
