This is incredibly annoying. We should require a longer tap to highlight the message, or somehow play with the order that the taps are processed. We obviously shouldn't break long-tap to select.

still very annoying! i have ios users constantly complaining about this and getting discouraged from opening links at all :(

any idea where in the code to find the tap processing logic?
