Steps to reproduce

  1. Enable "Message bubbles" for the room timeline
  2. Click on the permalink of a message

Outcome

What did you expect?

jump to the related message, highlight it by displaying the vertical bar on the left of the message

What happened instead?

the display name is cut off (because of the bar where the linked message is) (see screenshot)
