Modbus Error: [Connection] Not connected[AsyncModbusTcpClient 192.168.68.122:502]

The setup does not seem to initialise.

I am using a modbus bridge as provided here: https://github.com/veista/modbus_bridge which has worked like a charm for more than 18 months.
Could it be issue that with the recent HA modbus update, I need to update the bridge with a new library or something ?
