I had a question. What exactly does sendClearDirty($cat) and what categories must be sent to whatsapp?

Same here, the documentation in whatsprot doesn't tell anything about that.

     * Clears the "dirty" status on your account
     *

     */

sendClearDirty is an automatic response to a server message and not a manual user action. I'll have to make that method protected to avoid confusion.
